Residential Community

Penn's Meadow is a residential community developed by Omega Homes and located in Lower Macungie Township.  The development consists of single family homes and townhomes clustered around the common open space of two large community greens.

Townhouse community

Phil Siebert worked with Wallace and Watson Architects, now W2A, on the site planning for this cluster of urban townhomes in historic downtown Bethlehem.  The lightly shaded, brick surfaced central courtyard provides a pedestrian link between the Market Street entrance and the parking lot to the rear of the site.

Land Use Plan, Village Center

This project involved preparation of conceptual land use plans for an application for rezoning of a large estate property.  The concept, developed by Land Trust Properties, called for preserving a central commercial village and developing perimeter parcels in a variety of housing types and densities.  Phil Siebert prepared the conceptual illustrative plans and perspective illustrations for use in application for changes to the zoning of the site.

Trexler Park Equestrian Statue Plaza

The City of Allentown Parks Department hired Phil and his associate, Terry Souders, to design an overlook sitting area which would feature a life size equestrian statue of General Harry Trexler within it's popular and historic Trexler Park.  The statue was created by renowned sculptor Charles Parks.  The project features extensive stone masonry including Pennsylvania bluestone pavement and seat wall copings and also a unique inclined stone wall surrounding the sitting area.

Emmaus Triangle Park

Triangle Park, in the Borough of Emmaus, was envisioned by the Main Street Program and a volunteer group was formed to advance the project.  The group agreed on the potential of the park to contribute to the livelihood of the downtown area and conceptual plans were presented.  Phil Siebert was a member of that group and produced the conceptual drawings that were used to convince the community to abandon the large spruce tree that occupied the center of the space, but precluded its use for public gatherings and as a comfortable, shaded resting area.

Heil Park Soccer Fields- Easton, PA

This park expansion was needed because there was no existing full sized soccer field located within the City of Easton.  The city acquired an area for the field, but it was w rather steep, wooded site and required extensive regrading to accommodate soccer field.  An NPDES permit was required and this necessitated the inclusion of infiltration devices to mitigate any increase in storm water runoff and to clean water before it was discharged from the site.

Royersford Gateway Park

Royersford Gateway Park was conceived in a master plan developed by the borough's planning consultant, Urban Research and Development Corporation.  Phil Siebert was responsible for the illustrative plan, perspective rendering and detailed construction documents of the gateway park which marks the western entrance to the borough.

Royersford Riverfront Park

Royersford Riverfront Park was conceived in a master plan developed by the borough's planning consultant, Urban Research and Development Corporation.  Phil Siebert was responsible for the illustrative plan and detailed construction documents of Phase I of the park which features a curvilinear paved pedestrian path and river overlook sitting areas with site furniture and ornamental plantings.  Site storm water runoff is cleaned and rate controlled by a series of planted rain gardens.  We used rock filled wire gabion baskets as retaining walls elevate the path while minimizing the impact of the grade change on the adjacent wooded areas of the site.

St. Luke's Hospital Cancer Center

When St. Luke's Hospital decided to build their cancer center at the Fountain Hill Campus, the architecture was provided by Spillman Farmer Architects.  Spillman Farmer subcontracted the landscape planting design to Philip Siebert who incorporated some unique and beautiful plants in the design.

Lehigh County Government Center

The Lehigh County Government Center was created as part of the renovation of the vacant Zollinger and Harned Department Store on Hamilton Street in Allentown, PA.  Benjamin Walbert Architects were the architects of record for the project and they hired Phil Siebert to do the detailed design and construction documents for the pedestrian plaza area.

Conceptual Streetscape Improvements

Phil Siebert has frequently been called upon to prepare conceptual plans illustrating the potential impact of various types of streetscape improvements.  Perspectives are traced from reference photographs, and scenes are populated with vehicles and human figures to bring life into the scenes.  Inked tracings are then either rendered in watercolor or with AD marker colors to complete convincing scenes.

Sketchup Modeling

Phil Siebert, while working with URDC on the LVIP Route 412 corridor study, created a sketchup model of the region to illustrate the positioning of building mass relative to the roadway as it approaches the existing urban area of south-side Bethlehem.
